Best swim Goggles on the Market

  1. Swedish Goggles

Swedish goggles, often known as Swedes, are among the most popular swimming goggles among competitive swimmers.

The advantages of these eyewear are numerous: They are quite adaptable. They have an excellent field of vision. They are among the most affordable goggles available. Once you get used to the plastic eye socket, they are quite comfy. They also make you look sick in the water.

On the negative, unlike some other goggles, they aren't ready to use right out of the box (some assembly is required), and the rubber straps degrade fast compared to goggles with silicone straps.

The Swedish goggle is available in a wide range of colors and tints.

2. Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 Goggles

Speedo is one of the superpowers when it comes to equipment for swimmers. Over the years they have had countless Olympic and World champions in their roster, from Michael Phelps (his very first sponsorship), Nathan Adrian, Missy Franklin, Florent Manaudou, and many more.

The Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 is their most popular mid-range goggle, and it's easy to see why the first time you put them on. The rubberized gasket provides a very snug fit. Silicone straps are virtually unbreakable. Furthermore, the adjustable nose bridge ensures a leak-proof fit.

These Speedo goggles are also pre-fitted. Put them on your head, adjust the strap, and you're ready to go.

The two things about these goggles that I dislike are that they are really black. When the anti-fog starts to disappear, this becomes a problem, especially if you choose a dark lens and swim indoors. The second problem is that one's peripheral vision isn't as good as it is in Sweden.

(There is also a prescription version available.)

3. TYR Socket Rocket Goggles

Because they combine some of the greatest characteristics of the Swedes and the Vanquisher, the TYR Socket Rocket goggles have earned a spot in my goggles rotation.

They have a sleek design that reminds me of the Swedes. You can use the goggles “as is” with a piece of strap for the nose bridge, or you can use the adjustable nose piece with the provided string and silicone tube.

Like the Vanquishers 2.0, the goggles' gasket is softly rubberized, making them both comfortable and leak-proof.
